Kathleen
Bohlken, a Seattle-based interior and exterior designer with more than
20 years experience,
believes design is very much in the details. She specializes in turn-key
projects, where she not only does all of the planning and design, but
also chooses and purchases everything down to the last detail, including
silverware, cookbooks, bedding and even planted pots on the deck.
This
attention to detail has earned Kathleen residential and commercial clients
from around the globe including spas
and salons, yoga centers, churches and local restaurants. She has
completed turn-key vacation homes in Alaska, Sun River, Palm
Desert, Manhattan and Japan as well as various projects in Portland and
the surrounding Seattle area.
Kathleen works in styles that range from Asian
to contemporary. Due to her background teaching meditation and her extensive
work with spas and
yoga centers, all of her designs carry an element of spirituality and peacefulness.
